Bang¹; ¹KAIST, South Korea As a data-driven approach, a sparse identification of nonlinear dynamics (SINDy) is implemented for an aerodynamic model identification of the tailsitter UAV. The candidate functions are chosen to reveal the nonlinear relations between aerodynamic terms and system states. The tailsitter dynamics are fully derived and it is verified through simulation and flight tests. |
