Simulations enables testing of algorithms in a risk-free virtual environment before real-world deployment. An effective simulator should possess accuracy, reliability, flexibility, an intuitive interface, realistic environment representation, data tracking, parallelization and thorough documentation. In this paper, the integration of these features in a simulink-based simulator is approached.
