FATIGUE CRACK LIFE PREDICTION BASED ON BAYESIAN DYNAMIC UPDATE

Damage monitoring data obtained from sensors are used to construct crack propagation model considering uncertainty by Bayesian dynamic updating method, and the uncertainty is considered by randomizing the relevant parameters of crack growth model. The distribution of crack growth life is obtained by using the distributed parameter sampling and replacing the crack growth model. The prediction provides a higher accuracy than traditional model.
