Observers are proposed for longitudinal predictive aircraft monitoring in its flight envelope. Predictions are implemented in two steps: running observers provide predicted longitudinal and vertical accelerations, pitch angle and rate; with these, the nonlinear model equation – reduced to a linear time-varying equation – yields full state prediction through integration.
