COOPERATIVE THREAT ENGAGEMENT WITH HETEROGENEOUS DRONE SWARMS

This research combines modern AI decision-making approaches and state-of-the-art control techniques for a swarm of LW MAVs to coordinate efficient defense actions in a cooperative, autonomous, and decentralized manner. We apply these concepts in a defense scenario, modeled to test and optimize the loyal wingman concept, which we consider an interesting testbed for cooperative decision-making as well as the low-level control techniques.
