MOTION STROKE DESIGN ON FLEXIBLE ASSEMBLY TOOLING FOR MULTIPLE AIRCRAFT COMPONENTS

For multiple aircraft components, the optimal design on flexible assembly tooling system was studied in this paper. Firstly, a new motion stroke and layout optimization process of flexible locators was proposed, and eleven steps were contained and modelled. Then The proposed method was verified on different leading edge flap components, and benifit results were gained.
