EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON PROPULSION AND AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF A DUAL-BODY DISTRIBUTED ELECTRIC PROPULSION AIRCRAFT

To analysis the aerodynamic and propulsion characteristic of a Dual-Body Distributed Electric Propulsion Aircraft, series experiments were conducted in this research. The test result shows that the boundary layer ingestion effect and thrust/drag effect of the Electric Ducted Fan under different thrust level of the propulsion unit may both contributed to the coupling characteristics.
