AN INTERFACE CONCEPT TO SUPPORT THE COCKPIT CREW DURING TRAJECTORY-BASED DISPATCH TOWING

The Project Zero Emission Taxi Operations is conducting an applied study on combining trajectory-based surface operations with new dispatch towing technologies such as a robotic tractor called TaxiBot. Based on Frankfurt am Main Airport, the integration of automated dispatch towing technologies will be investigated in order to improve airport capacity by simultaneously reducing fuel consumption.
