FRICTION RIVETING OF THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE WITH A CNC MACHINE: EXPERIMENTAL WORK

Friction riveting is an innovative joining technique which presents a good alternative to assemble thermoplastic composite. This work studies the feasability of a riveting process in two phases: implantation and closing of the rivet head by friction.
