THE FATIGUE LIFE PREDICTION OF THIN-WALLED WELDED JOINTS

This contribution addresses the fatigue life prediction of thin-walled welded jointsrnin aerospace applications. It evaluates three approaches: nominal, structural, and notch stressrnbased predictions. A comparative study is conducted on a several types of specimens representingrncritical aircraft structural locations, offering insights for enhanced reliability in these predictions.
