CFD simulations were used to predict the static pressure drop across the filter system of a Direct Air Capture (DAC) device. CFD predictions were in agreement with experimental validation. Pressure losses within the filter were found to be resultant of high pressure regions forming, inducing turbulence. The computational model is hence able to be used in the optimisation of the DAC device.
