Malpica Galassi¹; ¹Sapienza Università di Roma, Italy We present a general framework for the design of sustainable hybrid aircraft which pursues minimal renewable energy consumption and CO2 emissions, taking into account the complete well-to-wake energy route. The design methodology is applied on a hybrid SAF/electric regional aircraft. Polynomial Chaos Expansion is employed to efficiently build stochastic optimal designs. |
