Ding, Civil Aviation University of China, China; ¹Beihang UniversitySchool of Energy and Power Engineering, China To study a new thermal management technology that combines radially rotating heat pipes (RRHP) with turbine disks or compressor disks in aero-engines. the numerical simulations of miniature sodium/potassium RRHP were conducted to predict the heat transfer performance. The equivalent thermal conductivity of the sodium and potassium heat pipe can reach 9176 W/m·K and 8966 W/m·K, respectively. |
