Dragonflies are widely concerned for their flying skills. In this paper, aiming at the dragonfly-inspired tandem wings, the effect of wing spacing is analyzed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The results indicate that the change of the distance between the tandem wings may affect the peak of the force coefficient. This may lead to a large gap in the aerodynamic efficiency of tandem wings.
