COMPUTER VISION ALGORITHMS FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF DAMAGES ON FULL-SCALE AIRCRAFT COMPONENTS

This study present a novel approach for airplane inspection to identify damages on aircraft components. Traditional methods of inspection rely on manual visual inspection by trained technicians, which can be time-consuming. By automating the detecting process through the use of image processing techniques, computer vision algorithms provide an alternative method.
