A design procedure has been created for a turbofan engine for the Mach 1.8 airliner model created in the EU-project SENECA. This procedure considers multiple optimization objectives like fuel efficiency, engine lifetime and supersonic drag as well landing and take-off noise and emissions. During this process, initial and final engine performance, geometry and emissions models have been created.
