Thispaper analyses the way technologies affect decision making performance in extreme environments. We conducted a case study which examines fighter pilots' evaluations of a technology called Link 16 on actual aerial warfare missions. Then, we developed a decisional fit model exploring the interplay between task, decision maker and technology.
