This paper deals with the analysis of controlled tiltrotor in presence of pilot-in-the-loop. The authors have synthesized control laws aimed at stability and ride quality augmentation based on optimal control and compared their open-loop performance and robustness with the closed-loop (pilot-in-the-loop) ones.
