Safety windows are knowledge maps designed to predict and protect flight safety in multifactor situations. First, knowledge of flight physics and logic is mined from fast-time simulation experiments. Then, a generalized algorithm is employed onboard to automatically detect irreversible and recovery scenarios by analyzing safety window’s color-coded ‘topology’.
