An efficient reanalysis technique is coupled with a hybrid design optimization method. The reanalysis technique updates the reduction bases of the Craig-Bampton method by employing the Combined Approximations approach and the method proposed by Masson et al. A theoretical test problem is used for the validation of the optimization method.
