This study focuses on the general trends of environmentally friendly, optimum aircraft procedures near airports. Since these optimum procedures depend strongly on the atmospheric conditions, the maximum allowable uncertainty in atmospheric conditions is studied in order to assess the efficiency of the proposed flight paths.
