Changing aircraft operational procedures is one strategy that can be used to mitigate aviation’s environmental impacts in relatively short time-frames with existing aircraft types. This study undertakes a systematic identification and evaluation of near and mid-term operational changes to determine their relative potential and hence identify priorities for implementation.
