The paper is concerned with aeroelastic analyses of an airfoil system in which both aerodynamic and structural nonlinearities are considered. The nonlinear effects are investigated for transonic flows over a NACA 0012 airfoil-based typical section. The investigation studies time histories of the aeroelastic response and phase plane behavior.
