Semi-empirical aeroelastic models are proposed to perform stability analysis of aircrafts with high aspect ratios wings, in different flight conditions. A nonlinear adaptive control system is introduced for the suppression of the instabilities caused by structural oscillations. Results show the criteria to guarantee the safety levels imposed by the regulations.
