An improved anti-icing calculation model, which considers the coupling effects of water film and the air boundary, is developed. A water film breakup analysis method using minimum total energy criteria is introduced for calculating wetness factor. The coupling effects of heat transfer and mass transfer are considered in temperature calculation.
