Through comparisons of the optimum airfoil found by combination of 4 parameterization methods and 3 optimization strategies, this work assesses the influence of these choices on the attainable optimum and its cost. The multi-point optimizations apply to an airfoil in 2D cascades corresponding to a propeller geometry at various radii.
