A data authentication solution of ADS-B systems based on the ECC and X.509 certificate was proposed. It could avoid the key distribution problems combined with symmetric key algorithm and preventing the ADS-B data spoofing thoroughly. Experimental testing results showed that the solution was valid and appropriate.
