The paper describes the work of the International Forum for Aviation Research (IFAR) in the field of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and the current development a scientific assessment. More than 80 experts worldwide are jointly developing a harmonized, non-biased international perspective that identifies the challenges to be addressed serving as a basis for regulators and authorities.
