DATA-DRIVEN APPROACH TO OPTIMAL AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

The operational phase of an aircraft life cycle generates data which can be used for developing models for cost-effective and efficient aircraft maintenance. The proposed models were developed based on probability theory, reliability theory, and segmented regression. An advantage of these models is their simplicity, making it easy to use by personnel for planning aircraft maintenance activities.
