COMPARISON OF ANALYTICAL SEMI-EMPIRICAL MODEL FOR JET NOISE PREDICTION

The Stone’s model is a complete and reasonably accurate procedure to estimate the jet noise over a very wide range of geometries and test conditions. The model is easy to implement and provides fast results, useful in the design phase of novel aircraft. An analysis of the model with focus on the latest improvements was provided.
