ANALYSIS OF THE HAMMERHEAD LAUNCH VEHICLE USING CFD-CAE COUPLED METHOD IN THE TRANSONIC REGION

An aeroelastic stability analysis of the hammerhead launch vehicle using computational fluid dynamics and computational structural dynamics coupled method in transonic region is performed with time domain and frequency domain to predict the aeroelastic phenomena such as flutter, divergence and buffet. The obtained results shown that divergence could occur in the worst case of the launch vehicle.
