At present, aircraft engines are required to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 for both economic and environmental concerns worldwide. And also, the increasing number of small airplanes is predicted. In the current study emulsion fuels were investigated to improve combustion efficiency and reduce both CO2 and fuel consumption of small jet engines. From emulsion fuel experiment results using small jet engines it was shown the fuel consumption rate by emulsion fuel was improved by up to 1%, and the combustion efficiency was improved by up to 5.8%.
