04.2 - Aerostructures Design, Structural Dynamics, AeroelasticityGROUND VIBRATION TESTING OF A HIGH ASPECT RATIO WING WITH REVOLVING CLAMPG. Dessena¹, D.I. Ignatyev¹, J.F. Whidborne¹, A. Pontillo, University of Bristol, United Kingdom; L. Zanotti Fragonara¹; ¹Cranfield University, United Kingdom A case study of a high aspect ratio wing is proposed to study the effect of operating conditions on its structural properties. A revolving clamp is designed to mount the specimen to a clamp-on shaker at different setting angles, allowing for ground vibration tests in different conditions. The objective is to detect a change in the wing’s modal properties in relation to the setting angle. |
