TECHNOLOGY ROADMAP AND CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF HYBRID AND ELECTRIC CONFIGURATIONS IN THE COMMUTER CLASS

The article presents the research work of Clean Sky 2 ELICA project which aims to trace a technological roadmap towards green aviation, using the Commuter A/C category as test bed. Design of two different 19-pax aircraft are presented, an aircraft with batteries, and a second one with H2 fuel cells. The emission reduction, whole energy, the cost and safety issues have been included in our study.
