ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE SHIELDING EFFECTIVENESS OF THE THIN CARBON NANOFIBERS/ SILICON CARBIDE FABRICS COMPOSITES

The thin CNFs/SiCf composites were obtained by means of slurry impregnation and CVD method. The electromagnetic interference shielding was investigated over the frequency range of 8.2-12.4 GHz. When the reaction time is over 15 min, SET is larger than 15 dB and SEA is larger than 12 dB which indicated that CNFs/SiCf composites show excellent potential of EMI SE with highly absorbing performance.
