CAD DEFORMATION FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF AEROELASTIC EFFECTS

Wings of real aircraft deform elastically depending on the load and the flight situation. For the aerodynamic post-calculation of wind tunnel tests, an approach is presented as an alternative to mesh deformation, to transfer these deformations directly to the CAD model and to regenerate the mesh for the calculation.
