Usually, the number of design points for DoEs is not known a priori or defined by heuristics. After DoE execution, it is often the case that models fitted to the data lack accuracy which leads to the need for additional design points or new DoE. The study proposes a highly efficient and universal method to augment an existing DoE and its application to an industrial Fan-Blisk design problem.rnrn
