WING LOADING PROCESS IN KNOWLEDGE-BASED AIRCRAFT DESIGN AND OPTIMIZATION FRAMEWORK

S. Hosseini¹, H.R. Ovesy¹, M.A. Vaziri-Zanjani¹; ¹Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran

An automated wing loading process is developed to be used in a multi-fidelity knowledge-based aircraft design framework. The overall process includes development of load cases, trimming, load distribution, and filtering of critical cases. This process is validated with available and verified data of a regional aircraft. In the end, this process is applied to a novel truss-braced wing jet aircraft.
