INFLUENCES OF CHANGING THE INSTALLING POSITIONS OF MULTIPLE WINGLETS ON AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS

We investigated the effects on the aerodynamic characteristics by installing multi-winglets position on aircraft wingtips because the previous study implemented a single position. We have conducted numerical analyses for two wing geometry patterns with three winglets. Consequently, the multi-winglets improved the performance of the main wing with upwind-type than downwind-type.
