STATISTICAL DATA SELECTION FOR BETTER FLIGHT CHARACTERISTIC MODELING

To perform reasonable and reliable estimation of flight characteristics of aircraft by using actual flight data, a combination of the data and a postulated model is an important factor. This study shows how the data affects the estimation results from the aspect of the estimated distribution of the model parameters, and proposes a method to select the data for the better estimation.
