AIRFOIL DESIGN BY MULTI-ADDITIONAL SAMPLING MULTI-FIDELITY EFFICIENT GLOBAL OPTIMIZATION

An Efficient global optimization (EGO), with multi-additional sampling multi-fidelity optimization, is applied for NACA 4-digit airfoil design with a single objective to maximize the proportion between lift coefficient (Cl) to drag coefficient (Cd). The application of this research is able to be used in the aircraft design industry to improve the design process.
