RESEARCH ON THE EFFECT OF THE PROCESS FIRST SHOT PEENING STRENGTHENING THEN SHOT PEENING FORMING ON FATIGUE STRENGTH OF 7050 HIGH-STRENGTH ALUMINUM ALLOY

G.-W. Li¹, T.-H. Luo¹, H.-Y. Hang¹; ¹Northwestern Polytechnical University, China

The experimental and simulation results show that the process of strengthening before forming can effectively avoid the stress concentration on the surface of the test parts, which improves the overall fatigue strength. Compared with 1.2mm pit diameter, the fatigue strength of 1.4mm pit diameter test piece is increased by 6.24%.
