A NUMERICAL METHOD FOR STUDY ON THE AERO-ELASTICITY OF AIR-TO-AIR MISSILES IN OVER-THE-SHOULDER LAUNCH

A coupled Computational Fluid Dynamic/Computational Structure Dynamics/Rigid Body Dynamics (CFD/CSD/RBD) method is developed to accurately evaluate the influence of areoelasticity of missile in OTS launch. Further numerical simulation will reveal the aeroelastic effect in the overturn and its influence on the speed and attitude of missile.
