03.2 - Experimental AerodynamicsWIND TUNNEL TEST OF A BLENDED WING BODY UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLER. Mariani¹, S. Suewatanakul¹, S. Ghika¹, L.A. Penela¹, P. Wennhage¹, B. Zang, University of Bristol, United Kingdom; ¹KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden A wind tunnel test campaign on a 37.5%-scale model on has been conducted to examine the aerodynamic characteristics of a blended wing body unmanned aerial vehicle. Boundary and support interference corrections have been pre-determined through numerical simulations of the model in the tunnel. Preliminary experimental and numerical results show good agreement validating the methodology. |
