MULTIPOINT AERODYNAMIC DESIGN OF A NACELLE FOR AN ELECTRIC FAN

This paper describes the initial design efforts of a nacelle for an electric fan. A 2D optimization is presented for a mid-cruise condition, followed by a study of how the 3D effects and off-design operating conditions, such as high-incidence and crosswind, can impact the design of nacelles for electric fans.
