The air-liquid numerical simulation was performed to explore the atomization mechanism of the centrifugal nozzle. Results show that the RNG, RLZ and STD model were able to capture the air-liquid interface since the primary nozzle deployed a large outlet diameter. Compared to the test, the RLZ model provided the most accurate results at different operating conditions.
