Recent development on the new generation of STOL/VTOL aircraft utilizing the active circulation flow control channel-wing design is presented. Results have shown that the amount of lift that could possibly be extracted reaching over one-third of its thrust. However, although gaining some lift, there will be some losses in the thrust; due to the viscous effect on the adjacent layer of fluid-wall.
