EVALUATION ASPECT MAPPING FOR ACTUATION SYSTEM DESIGN

Electrified actuators are today looking to replace hydraulic servo actuators for flight control. Key differences between the technologies emphasize the importance to fully understand what effects such a change would have on the platform. This paper shows how to make use of a relational model to further understand the coupling between actuation system components and their impact on platform level.
