RESEARCH ON FATIGUE STRENGTH PREDICTION MODEL OF AERO-ENGINE BLADES SUBJECTED TO FOREIGN OBJECT DAMAGE

The research in this work provides experimental support and prediction method for the evaluation of aero-engine blades subjected to foreign object damage (FOD). The average stress model was used to predict the fatigue strength of the real aero-engine blade subjected to FOD, and the model was revised to improve the accuracy to the prediction error range of -20% to 0.
