An efficient aerodynamic design system has been developed for leading-edge configuration at a low Reynolds number. The lift-to-drag ratio of the wing is greatly improved by optimizing the position of the propeller and the shape of the wing in a coupled manner through the slipstream effect. The integrated aerodynamic design can be extended to design solar powered UAVs with multiple propellers.
